When we were out guiding we learned that usually simple is best. We wanted a durable, but yet super-fishy midge dry when we created the Sunrise and Midnight Midge. That's exactly what we got. 
Tied with premium hackle on both ends, we add a little bit of flash in the middle to get em looking up. This is a great morning pattern with the light, making it easier to see than one may think. Fish it solo or trail it behind a bigger attractor up front.
