The Bottoms Up Caddis is the latest in a long line of successful CFA exclusive caddis dry flies. We wanted a very life-like profile with minimal materials and the Bottoms Up was born. The extended body tied aft-style on the hook guarantees that the hook rides below the surface. This, in effect, puts the extended body right on the surface giving the curious onlooker the perfect caddis silhouette, making it irresistible to trout. We like to fish this one solo or with an unweighted Rogue Caddis just below.
