Our Baeits PT nymph should have a home in your fly box. This is one of our most inconspicuous bugs, often overlooked for its simplicity. This is just like your other go-to pheasant tail, but with a little CFA change-up. We add a dark black tungsten bead to an olive body to help keep it deep, and to also mimic the darker colors of the real Baetis nymphs. We added a small black wire for segmentation and increased durability, and we even switched out the legs for a more life-like and longer lasting effect. Don't sleep on the Baetis PT, it's a deadly secret.
