Colorado Fly Angler was founded in 2020 by Chris Hull, a fly fishing guide and passionate fly tyer and creator. After finding great success with his own individually hand tied & exclusive flies on his guided fly fishing trips, Chris started receiving requests to tie for customers & clients alike. Soon, he was commercially tying for a local fly company before they ultimately shipped their operations overseas, choosing profits over quality. It was then that Chris would expand heavily upon his exclusive fly collection, while also making the decision to develop his own website to be able to offer his exclusive & unique flies to the masses.

 

About 2 years later, after Colorado Fly Angler's first appearance at The Denver Fly Fishing Show, where we were awarded the Consumer's Choice Freshwater Fly of the Year for the Titan Midge & Assassin Baetis, we became a full time operation.

 

Now, with the help of his partner Rebecca, who does the digital marketing and shipping amongst other tasks, Colorado Fly Angler has evolved from an idea, into a website, and into an Award Winning fly company.
